About NIFT Srinagar
NIFT Srinagar Admission 2024: The application process for admission to the UG and PG courses is to open soon. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held in the 1st week of February 2024.
NIFT Srinagar courses are offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of design and management. There are a total of three UG and one PG programme offered here. The NIFT Srinagar fees range from Rs 5.86 lakh to Rs 12.34 lakh (tuition). The semester fees vary for each year.
The NIFT Srinagar placements are offered to students via the on and off campus recruitment process. Other than this, PPOs are also provided to students by the companies. Companies like Lifestyle, Swarvoski India, Benetton, Freelook, etc. hire students during campus placements.
The NIFT Srinagar course admissions are determined by the candidate's academic merit from their previous qualifying examinations, along with valid entrance test scores. The Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) are conducted for admission to the UG and PG courses.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Srinagar was established in 2016. It was established by the Ministry of Textile, Govt of India. It is a public institute located in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The institute is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The NIFT Srinagar campus is well maintained and has necessary amenities such as classrooms, laboratories, resource centre, sports facilities, etc.

The NIFT Srinagar placement is organised and overseen by a dedicated training and placement department. NIFT Srinagar Courses and Admission 2024
NIFT Srinagar courses are provided in the fields of fashion design, accessory design, fashion communication and fashion management. The programmes are provided at UG and PG levels. The degrees offered are B.Des and MFM. The NIFT Srinagar fees structure ranges from Rs 5.86 lakh to Rs 12.34 lakh. The total student intake is 136 (Total) and 48 (State Domicile). The NIFT Srinagar admission process requires students to take the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the institute. Along with this, UG applicants are required to sit for the Situation Test, whereas PG applicants are required to go through the PI session. NIFT Srinagar Application Process 2023
The submission of applications for the NIFT Srinagar admission procedure has to be done via the official website of the institute. The steps are provided below:
- Visit the official website (nift.ac.in/srinagar).
- Fill out the NIFT Srinagar application form.
- Make the payment of the application fee.
- The NIFT Srinagar application fee must be paid in online mode only.
- Keep a printout/ photocopy of the application form and fee receipt for reference.

The NIFT Srinagar cut off for the B.Des and MFM courses for the year 2023 was released. The cut off rank was released on the basis of student categories for round 1. The NIFT Srinagar campus is spread across 16.5 acres of land in a lush green environment. The campus consists of several facilities for the student's growth and development, both academic and holistic. Previously, the institute worked through the temporary campus at Rangreth, Srinagar. The NIFT Srinagar campus now functions from its permanent campus at Ompora, Budgam, Jammu & Kashmir.
